- Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam has fired CEO Joe Banner and General Manager Mike Lombardi after yet another disappointing season for the team. The Browns finished with a 4-12 record in Banner and Lombardi’s only season in Cleveland.
- The East beat the West last week in a record-setting NBA All-Star game by a score of 163-155. Kyrie Irving was named MVP with 31 points and 14 assists, and Carmelo Anthony chipped in with eight 3-pointers.
- Bubba Watson played the final 39 holes without a bogey last weekend to win the Northern Trust Open, his first tournament victory since the 2012 Masters. He shot a 64-64 weekend and made up a four-shot deficit in six holes in his record-breaking win.
