Preparing to launch
Freshman engineering students fill balloons with the correct amount of helium and attach a box called a payload that sends information back to the lab.
Launch!
Students had to be careful when releasing their balloon to make sure the payload did not snap off. The balloon had to be released with the wind. The team also prayed over each balloon they released that their research and time would be profitable.
